Description:

A very attractive evergreen tree with characteristic red peeling bark. The branches tend to be irregular in form and twist with age. The panicles of pink bell shaped flowers are followed by edible fruit which turn from green to orange and red when ripe. Butterflies and humming birds are very attracted to this tree.
