Recommended Placement:

This tree needs lots of room. Plant in large landscapes or parks, away from traffic areas so that pruning will not be necessary.

Description:

A graceful, fast growing, pyramidal conifer with blue/green needles. Horizontal branches tend to droop at the ends which gives the tree a soft appearance, especially when the new shoots appear. Does not need pruning and lower limbs should be left on the tree so that the true form can be appreciated.

Optimal Soil:

Sandy loam, slightly alkaline to acidic. Well drained soil.

Horizontal branching, Low branching, Natural form, Pyramidal, Single trunk

40 feet to 50 feet
