Description:

Native to China. An evergreen tree that bears small creamy white flowers followed by orange colored edible fruit in fall. The seed inside the fruit is usually large in proportion to the fruit itself. New flowers and branches have a furry coating. Leaves are large, 6" to 12 inches long, and leathery.
