One of the first known trees to grow on Earth. It has unique fan-shaped green foliage, which turns golden yellow in fall. It has somewhat erratic branching and is pyramidal when young, but the canopy broadens considerable with age. It grows at an extremely slow rate and is very long lived. All Ginkgo 'Autumn Gold' are male trees.
